Tina Meetran is a Laotian American woman born and raised in the small city of Providence, RI. Growing up, the aroma of her mom’s cooking always filled the house and Tina’s best memories are with her family in the kitchen, eating the tastiest (and spiciest!) dishes. Tina believes in the power of food - the love language of our tummies and souls that brings together family, friends, and community.By sharing her family’s food stories through her books, Tina strives to keep the cultural history of Southeast Asian cuisine alive, representing and inspiring the next generation of young leaders.
